Tom Barnes

Tom Barnes is a compliance and risk professional currently serving as the Compliance & Risk Team Manager for Impartiality and Risk at BSI. With a strong background in public policy and regulatory affairs, they have progressed through various leadership roles, including serving as a Policy Advisor at HM Treasury and a Principal Policy Specialist at the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency. Tom has also worked in health and economic policy, contributing to strategic initiatives in the UK civil service, and is currently pursuing a PGCert in Management and Leadership at Coventry University after earning a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Bath.
