Alex Yakovyshenko, LL.B, MBA, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and management across various sectors. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board at BSIA of BC since March 2016, Alex has also held roles as Vice Chair and Director, focusing on Government Relations. In addition, Alex has been the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Haney Builders' Supplies Ltd since August 2009, overseeing key operational roles including Store Manager and Sales Floor Manager. Previous experience includes Operations and Store Manager at PDA Place Nord Inc, where Alex successfully launched the company’s first retail store and improved online shipping efficiencies, and Sales Operations Manager at Elmira Windows and Doors, driving revenue growth and managing diverse sales teams. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from UBC Sauder School of Business and various advanced management studies from Yale School of Management and IE Business School.
