Katey Friermood is an experienced loan officer at B:Side Capital, managing direct lending programs since September 2020. Prior to this role, Katey served as the owner and designer of Violet Hour Fashion from March 2015 to December 2020, overseeing all aspects of the business, including marketing and production. Additional experience includes a freelance role as a product line coordinator for The North Face, where responsibilities encompassed managing visual line plans and collaborating across multiple teams. Early career positions involved roles in merchandising and product development at companies like DENY Designs and Goldbug, as well as administrative roles at Norris Design and Altitude Digital Partners. Katey holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Sciences with a focus on Textile and Apparel Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
