Thomas E. Ratsep

Thomas Ratsep serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Risk Officer at Ballston Spa National Bank, overseeing the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management program along with various related departments. With extensive experience in credit and risk management, Thomas has held leadership positions at several financial institutions, including Veterans & Community Housing Coalition as Director/Treasurer, and Arrow Financial Corporation as Vice President, Senior Credit Administration Manager. Thomas has been instrumental in managing substantial commercial loan portfolios, enhancing lending policies, and participating in strategic planning and compliance initiatives. An alumnus of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and holder of a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Vermont, Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the banking sector.
