Gabriele Saito

Gabriele Saito is a senior scientist with extensive experience in formulation and process development, particularly in drug delivery systems and innovative therapies. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at BSP Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. since May 2021, Gabriele specializes in the tech transfer of formulations and processes for antibody-drug conjugates and injectables. Previous positions include roles as Senior Scientist at GSK and EMERGEX Vaccines Holding Limited, where Gabriele led projects in drug product development and synthetic vaccine formulation, respectively. Gabriele’s background also includes significant research in nanoparticle technology and micelle development during a postdoctoral tenure at Queen Mary University of London, alongside earlier work at Midatech Pharma and Sanofi. Gabriele holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Queen Mary University of London, complemented by a Master's internship at the National Research Council in Italy and an MSc in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies from Università degli Studi di Palermo.
