Giuliana Verdone

Giuliana Verdone is a highly experienced professional in analytical development, currently serving as the Analytical Development & Process Analytical Support Manager at BSP Pharmaceuticals S.p.A. since April 2017, where responsibilities include the development and transfer of analytical methods for lyophilized and oral formulations, as well as the characterization of small and large molecules using various techniques such as HPLC and LC-MS. Previously, Giuliana held the position of Analytical Development & GMP Leader at Patheon, focusing on analytical methods development and validation for drug substances and products. Prior experience includes working as an Analytical Development Specialist at IBI Lorenzini, where Giuliana developed and validated methods for proteins and peptides, and as a Research Scientist at the University of Oxford, specializing in NMR characterization of large proteins. Giuliana holds a Ph.D. in Biochemical Sciences from Università degli Studi di Udine and a degree in Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
