Gareth Shann

Gareth Shann is an accomplished professional in data and analytics with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Group Director of Data & Analytics at Bspoke Insurance Group since August 2024, Gareth previously held the position of Head of Business Intelligence at UK General Insurance from June 2017 to August 2024. Prior to that, roles included Insight Manager at Direct Line Group, where expertise was applied in managing teams analyzing annual claim expenditure exceeding £500 million. At the Royal Bank of Scotland, Gareth was instrumental as an Analysis Project & Delivery Manager, leading significant cost-saving initiatives and overseeing transformation projects while earlier roles involved developing fraud detection systems and management information reporting. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Computing from Leeds Beckett University.
