Evangelia Kagiali is a dedicated research professional with extensive experience in environmental biodiversity, particularly focusing on the interactions between plants and pollinators. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at ΕΛΓΟ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΑ and BSRC Alexander Fleming, Evangelia monitors insect and plant biodiversity while also coordinating national efforts for the NGO Core Project (COLOSS) aimed at assessing Honeybee Winter Losses. As a COLOSS Award Fellow, involvement includes collaboration with citizens, scientists, and authorities on key research initiatives. Additionally, Evangelia is the Head Agriculturalist & Consultant for The Bee Camp, advocating for pollinator awareness and ecosystem preservation. Entrepreneurial endeavors as the Environmental Consultant & Founder of Self Sufficiency Class and experience as a Garden Advisor further complement ecological expertise. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences with a focus on Crop Production from Agricultural University of Athens, alongside studies at The Johns Hopkins University and a degree in Biomedical Lab Assistance from Nea Smirini Technical School.
