Dana Rains

Dana Rains has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dana started their career at Methodist Hospital in 1992, where they served as Vice President/Administrative Director. In 1998, they became Vice President at Covenant Health System when Methodist Hospital merged with St. Mary Hospital. Dana then went on to establish their own company, Rains Healthcare Solutions, LLC, in 2004, where they served as President/Founder until 2009. Dana joined Grace Clinic Holdings, LLC in 2005 as COO/Clinic Administrator until 2011 when they became Chair of the Board and CEO at Grace Medical Center. In 2013, they moved to Grace Health System as President and System Development. In 2014, Dana took up the role of Vice President Operations at both Baylor Scott & White Health and HealthTexas Provider Network (HTPN) A Baylor Scott and White Affiliate. Their most recent position is Vice President Operations at HealthTexas Provider Network.

Dana Rains holds an MBA in Health Organization Management from Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business, which was obtained between 1986 and 1988. Prior to this, Dana completed a BBA in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin from 1981 to 1984. Dana also has a certification as a Fellow from the American College of Healthcare Executives, but the specific year of obtaining the certification is unknown.
