David Dawson

David Dawson is a prominent vascular surgeon and clinical educator currently serving as Editor in Chief for the Journal for Vascular Ultrasound since January 2024, overseeing a peer-reviewed publication linked with the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. In addition to this role, David has been a Clinical Professor at Texas A&M University and a vascular surgeon at Baylor Scott & White Health since late 2018, focusing on complex vascular care and surgical education. With extensive experience at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where David served as Chief of Vascular Surgery, and in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, David has demonstrated leadership in surgical innovation and medical education.
