Karen V Smith

Karen V Smith, MD, is a dedicated family physician with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently employed at Baylor Scott & White Health since April 2017, Karen provides primary care services to the community. Prior to this role, Karen served as a family physician, rural hospitalist, and medical director at BSA Health System, where responsibilities included managing medical teams in underserved areas of the Texas Panhandle. As the founder of A Family Doctor, PA, and through positions at Kenneth Copeland Ministries and JPS Health Network, Karen has focused on wellness, disease prevention, and quality patient care. Karen holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center and has furthered education with certifications in family medicine and clinical education.
