Maura Pothier

Maura Pothier has a comprehensive work experience in finance and budgeting. Maura started their career as a Fiscal Policy Analyst/Fiscal Policy Supervisor at the Fiscal Affairs Division in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 1998 to 2001. After that, they worked as a Budget Director at the Division of Medical Assistance from 2002 to 2003, where they managed a staff of 10 professionals and was responsible for developing budget forecasts. Maura then moved on to the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, also in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where they served as a Budget Director from 2003 to 2004. In that role, they led the reorganization of budgets for 16 agencies and created a centralized database for financial analysis. Maura's most recent position was as the Director of Finance at Baylor Health Care System, starting in 2005. In this role, they managed the finance department, oversaw budgeting and forecasting for the IT department, and ensured financial accuracy through monitoring and tracking budgets.

Maura Pothier received a Master's degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University (1998-2001), and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from Boston University (1989-1993).
