Walter Alan Barker

Walter Alan Barker has a diverse work experience in various legal roles. Walter Alan began their career as a Law Clerk at Scott Yung LLP in 2008 and then moved on to Lively & Associates, LLP where they served as an Associate/Law Clerk from 2009 to 2011. Walter Alan then joined JPS Health Network as a Compliance Analyst from 2011 to 2012, handling operational compliance issues and conducting audits. In 2013, Barker joined Baylor Scott & White Health as a Senior Corporate Compliance Consultant and later held roles such as Manager of Audits and Investigations, System Director of Policies/Assistant General Counsel, and Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. Their most recent positions at Baylor Scott & White Health include Vice President, General Counsel, Legal Risk Compliance Operations and currently, Vice President, General Counsel, Regulatory and LRC Operations.

Walter Alan Barker attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a BA in Government and History. Subsequently, they enrolled in the Texas A&M University School of Law from 2007 to 2010, obtaining a JD in Law.
