Mario Guajardo

Mario Guajardo has extensive work experience in the field of actuarial services. Mario started their career as an Actuarial Student at HealthMarkets, Inc. in 2002 and worked there until 2005. Mario then joined WellPoint as an Actuarial Analyst III in 2006 and stayed with the company until 2010. Mario later became the Actuarial Services Director at Scott & White Health Plan in 2010. In addition to their actuarial roles, they also have experience as a Science and Mathematics Teacher at Rabbi Riff Yeshiva from 1999 to 2002.

Mario Guajardo attended Bethel College - Company from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics. Mario has also obtained various certifications, including being a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Life Management Institute, and being compliant with General Qualification Standards for Actuaries Issuing SAOs.
