Director Population Health at Baylor Scott & White Health Plan

Melissa Loper has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position is as the Director of Population Health at Baylor Scott & White Health Plan starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at CareSource, where they served as the Director of High-Risk OB Care Management and the Director of Clinical Operations - High-Risk Obstetrics Case Management from 2020 to 2022. Melissa also worked as an OB/Maternal Child Health RN at Florance Crittenton Center and as a Project Manager in the Government Sales Department at Gateway from 1994 to 2005, where they managed sales spreadsheets, payroll, and event organization.

Melissa Loper has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of South Dakota. Melissa also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN, RN) from South Dakota State University. Melissa has obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Business Administration and Management from Grand Canyon University. Additionally, they have certifications including Case Manager Certification (CCMC) from the Commission for Case Manager Certification, AWHONN certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, and BSN-RN certification from the Arizona Board of Nursing. Melissa is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
