David Morrissey

David Morrissey has a diverse range of work experience in the banking and financial services industry. David started their career at Macquarie Group in 1994, where they held various positions, including Division Director and Head of Retail Mortgages. In this role, they managed a team of mortgage professionals and a portfolio exceeding $8 billion. David also transitioned business relationships and implemented strategic initiatives.

Morrissey later worked at BT Financial Group as the Head of Product - Margin Lending and Online Share Trading, starting in 2010. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Macquarie Group, including Division Director of Banking and Financial Services Group and Division Director of COO Macquarie Financial Canada. These roles involved managing Canadian mortgage businesses, acquiring a Canadian mortgage company, and establishing and managing the Virgin Mortgages joint venture initiative in Australia. Throughout their career, Morrissey has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on business growth and profitability.

David Morrissey's education history includes a Certificate of Executive Leadership in Business Management, Marketing, and Related Support Service from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 2018. David also studied Constitutional Law, Contracts, and Torts at the Law Extension Committee until 1995 and Trust Administration at the University of New England (AU) until 1991. Additionally, David has obtained certifications in Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Introduction to Cloud Computing from the Institute of Applied Technology, along with RG146 - General Knowledge and Margin Lending from Kaplan Professional.
