Julian Gamble

Julian Gamble has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and programming. Julian started their career as an Undergraduate at BT Financial Group in 2000 and then transitioned to a Graduate role in the same company in 2002. In 2003, they joined BT as an Analyst Programmer and later advanced to the position of Senior Analyst Programmer in 2007.

In 2014, Julian took on a Technical Lead role at BT, where they led a team of 30 individuals in delivering the first version of the Panorama Onboard capability. As a Technical Lead, they worked with Oracle, SOAP, Java, JavaScript, Backbone, and Angular. Julian'swork involved coordinating with a larger team of 200 developers working on the Panorama program.

From 2015 to 2017, Julian served as Technical Lead in the Panorama team, focusing on Devops. In 2017, they became the Technical Lead for Panorama Engineering. Julian continued to contribute to BT's success until 2022, when they assumed the role of Senior Engineer. Julian is currently employed as a Principal Engineer at BT.

Julian Gamble completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Science and their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Technology Sydney from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as DS320: DataStax Enterprise Analytics with Apache Spark, DS310: DataStax Enterprise 6 Search, DS220: Data Modeling with Apache Cassandra, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from institutions like DataStax and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
