Roy Wood

Roy Wood has extensive experience in field engineering, primarily in the telecommunications industry. Since January 2009, Roy has held multiple roles at BT Ireland, including RAN Field Engineering Team Lead and Implementation Engineer, providing 24/7 support for various customers and BT's radio and fiber network. Prior to this, Roy worked at O2 Ireland from July 2000 to January 2009 as a Field Engineer, managing maintenance for the O2 network while overseeing external resource engineers. Earlier roles include Field Engineer at Apex Fire Systems and Service Engineer at Sigma Wireless, focusing on commercial fire alarm systems and telecommunications equipment, respectively. Roy holds a National Diploma in Electronics from Dundalk Institute of Technology and a Leaving Certificate from Carrigallen Vocational School.
