Darrell Sturmey

Darrell Sturmey has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as a Senior Sales/System Engineer at BT Wholesale since April 2000. In this role, Darrell specializes in technical pre-sales and post-sales support, focusing on troubleshooting within the Telco industry, particularly for Fixed and Mobile Network Operators. Darrell acts as the lead technical specialist across a diverse range of BT Group products, with a strong emphasis on BT Wholesale. Prior to this, Darrell served in the Royal Navy from September 1978 to March 1988 as a Non-Commissioned Engineering Officer, where the final two years included the position of Deputy Engineering Officer, ensuring the operational integrity of ship electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and weapon systems. Darrell's education was completed at Oakmead Boys School in Bournemouth from 1972 to 1978.
