Iain Monteath

Iain Monteath has extensive experience in the security sector, primarily with BT Group since 1999, where current roles include Head of Physical Security Transformation, Head of Network Operations Transformation, and Head of the Cyber Assessment Lab, focusing on technical direction and vendor capability reviews. Monteath has also served as a Security Innovation Consultant within the Office of the CTO, aiding in the navigation of the security landscape and innovation for BT and its customers. Additional expertise includes scouting for startup innovations in technology as a Showcase Specialist and European Scouting, alongside contributions to business leaders in various sectors. Furthermore, Monteath was an Industrial Fellow at the University of Bristol's Department of Computer Science, utilizing industry experience to support emerging startup companies, and is pursuing a Master's degree in Cyber Security at Northumbria University.
