Omar Asif

Omar Asif serves as the Global Lead for the AWS Strategic Alliance at BT Group since November 2016, focusing on fostering a comprehensive partnership between BT and AWS. Previously, Omar held various roles within BT Group, including Client Services Director, where responsibilities included managing high-value client portfolios and enhancing service delivery metrics. Additional experience includes serving as Programme Director, overseeing project management across EMEA and APAC, and serving in senior managerial roles at Openreach and Ernst & Young, providing transformation strategies and advisory services. Early career highlights include positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and Siemens AG, where Omar contributed to strategic product management and sales operations. Omar holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila.
