Peter Leukert

Peter Leukert currently serves as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at BT Group, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Peter served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Deutsche Telekom from January 2017 to July 2025. Additional experience includes founding partner and head of strategy at Motive Partners, and head of strategy at FIS. Peter also held the position of CIO at NYSE and Commerzbank AG, and was a partner at McKinsey & Company for over a decade. Peter holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Finanzmathematik from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a Diplom in Mathematik and Physik from Bielefeld University.
