Richard P.

Richard P. is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in technical consultancy and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Data Science lead in the CTO team at BT since March 2019, Richard oversees multiple Data Science projects, developing advanced mathematical and statistical models using technologies such as Spark, HBase, Python, and Scala. Previously, Richard held various positions at QinetiQ from 2001 to February 2019, including Senior Data Scientist, where expertise was applied in big-data analytics and bespoke machine learning techniques. Richard's career began at DERA as a Senior Scientific Officer, focusing on mathematical modeling and artificial intelligence research. Richard holds a DPhil in Theoretical Physics and an MA in Physics from the University of Oxford.
