Rens Pontier

Rens Pontier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rens started their career as a Consultant at Capgemini Nederland in 2004, where they worked on a data harmonization project for Prorail. Rens then moved on to De Telegraaf as a Java Developer, responsible for the Woonkrant.nl website. In 2007, Rens joined Laurens Simonse Groep as a PHP Developer, but their responsibilities extended beyond development, including coordinating establishments and maintaining communications with suppliers. From 2013 to 2022, they worked at Tenzinger as a Senior PHP Developer, primarily focusing on building new functionalities for the Medicore EPD application. Since 2012, Rens has also operated their own photography business, Rens Pontier Fotografie, specializing in various types of photography, such as (family) portraits, weddings, and product photography. Recently, Rens has joined BTC Direct as a Senior PHP Developer in 2022.

Rens Pontier attended Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hogere Informatica.
