Antonio Busson

Antonio Busson, PhD, has diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Antonio is currently working at BTG Pactual as a Staff Artificial Intelligence Engineer and Associate Director. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at BTG Pactual. Before joining BTG Pactual, Antonio worked at TeleMidia Lab as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Research Associate. Antonio also held a position as a Machine Learning Engineer and Research Assistant at TeleMidia Lab. Antonio's earlier experience includes working at Mediabox Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in the development and maintenance of various platforms. Antonio also served as a Software Engineer and Research Intern at the Laboratory of Advanced Web Systems (LAWS) and as a Research Intern at PET - Programa de Educação Tutorial. Antonio's work experience showcases their expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering.

Antonio Busson, PhD, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UFMA - Universidade Federal do Maranhão in 2012. Antonio then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they completed in 2015. Antonio went on to receive a Doctor's Degree in Data Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro in 2022. In 2023-2024, they conducted a PostDoc in Artificial Intelligence at the same university. Antonio has also obtained various certifications in subjects such as Software Engineering for Data Science, Machine Learning Modeling Pipelines in Production, and Convolutional Neural Networks.
