Eduardo Henrique de Mello Motta Loyo

Eduardo Loyo is a Member of the Board of Directors of BTG Pactual.

Loyo joined UBS Pactual in 2007 and became a partner of the Bank in 2009. He was an Executive Officer of the IMF and Director of the Central Bank of Brazil.

He earned his PhD. in Economics at Princeton University and his Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s degree in Economics at PUC-Rio. He was a professor of the Economics Department of PUC-Rio and Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and a visiting professor at Columbia University and INSEAD.
