Nelson Azevedo Jobim

Nelson Jobim is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and is in charge of the Institutional Relations and Compliance Policies of BTG Pactual.

He graduated in 1968 in Law and Social Sciences from the Law School of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He held positions as a member and Chairman of the Federal Supreme Court from 1997 to 2006, Minister of Justice, Minister of Defense, Chairman of the National Council of Justice and Justice and Chairman of the Superior Electoral Tribunal. Mr. Jobim worked as an attorney from 1969 to 1994; from 2006 to 2007; and from 2001 to 2016.
