Rennan Gaio

Rennan Gaio has a strong background in data science and technology leadership. Rennan is currently working at BTG Pactual as a Tech Lead of Data Science, where they collaborate with the team on tasks related to planning, refinement, and execution of projects in the banking sector. Rennan'sresponsibilities include working on projects such as PFM, customer insights, personas, and generative AI. Before joining BTG Pactual, Rennan worked as a Data Scientist Analyst at the same company, where they focused on data modeling and building AI models using Python. Rennan also developed automated lifecycle processes for model retraining and updating. Prior to BTG Pactual, Rennan worked at CAPGov as a Team Leader and Infrastructure Analyst, where they were involved in infrastructure development using Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher. Rennan also gained experience as a Data Scientist at IBM and worked as an Information Security Intern at SegTIC UFRJ, where they handled security incidents and implemented Honey Pots. Rennan's early career included working as a Junior Scientific Initiation Student at Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas - CBPF, where they contributed to the development of a mechanical structure for gamma radiation detection research.

Rennan Gaio completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the same university, completing it in 2021.
