Gorka Orive

Gorka Orive is a Full Professor at UPV/EHU since February 2023 and serves as Chief Scientific Officer at Cybosense since October 2023. Gorka has held various academic positions at UPV, including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Pharmacy, and has been involved as a PhD student since January 2000. Gorka is also an Adjunct Principal Investigator at Singapore Eye Research Institute and serves as Scientific Advisor of the Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine at BTI Biotechnology Institute. Gorka founded GEROA Diagnostics in July 2015, focused on developing innovative technologies and biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease. Additionally, Gorka has been a researcher at CIBER BBN since July 2006 and holds multiple degrees in Pharmacy from the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
