Jenny Schiattareggia has a diverse work experience history. Jenny started their career as an Accounting Intern at James A. Lucas and Company, LLP from January 2011 to April 2013. Jenny then joined Kappa Delta Sorority as the Website Chair from December 2013 to May 2016, and also served as the Chaplain from January 2015 to January 2016.
In 2015, Jenny worked as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina, where they used Matlab to create and maintain a program for a Professor of Geology. Jenny analyzed hydrogeology research data to find optimization levels for various projects.
From June 2015 to May 2016, they took on the role of Program Leader at the National Center for Women & Information Technology. Jenny planned, managed, and taught computing camps to middle school girls, providing assistance for projects related to Scratch and Arduino.
In 2016, Jenny had a Software Engineering Internship at Garmin International. Jenny developed, debugged, and maintained code for an upcoming product release. Jenny also refurbished the GarminOS file system architecture to improve code readability and efficiency. Additionally, they conducted research on POSIX communication with GarminOS.
From June 2017 to January 2020, Jenny worked as a Software Engineer at Raytheon. Jenny collaborated with the IRAD team, performing research on machine learning and content analytics. Jenny also participated in Language and Speech Recognition Evaluations for NIST, and analyzed encrypted and unencrypted VoIP packet captures for identity resolution and association.
Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineer at BTI360 starting from January 2020.
Jenny Schiattareggia attended the University of South Carolina from 2013 to 2017, where they received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in March 2013, they obtained a National Career Readiness Certificate Level Gold from ACT Work Keys. In April 2014, they obtained a certification in Adult-Child-Infant CPR/AED and Standard First Aid for the Community and Workplace from the American Health Association.
