Nick Altmann

Nick Altmann currently serves as Director of Software Equity Research at BTIG, a role held since September 2025. Prior to this position, Nick held various roles at Scotiabank, including Director and Associate Director of U.S. Software Equity Research from January 2022 to August 2025. Experience also includes a Vice President role in Software Equity Research at Cowen Inc. from March 2018 to January 2022, where assistance was provided in coverage of notable companies such as Adobe and Salesforce, as well as in IPO due diligence for Snowflake and Confluent. Earlier experience includes positions as an Equity Research Associate at Northland Securities and as an Analyst Intern at Provenire Capital LLC. Nick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas.
