Jochen Gutbrod

Jochen Gutbrod has over two decades of experience in the financial and technology industries. Jochen is currently a Partner at btov Partners, a venture capital firm.

Previously, they were with Investment Navigator, where they worked on developing and launching new investment products. Jochen also spent time at Artnet, where they were a member of the supervisory board.

From 2011 to 2020, Gutbrod was the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at MyHammer AG. During their tenure, MyHammer AG became one of the leading online platforms for home improvement services in Germany.

Gutbrod has also served on the supervisory boards of Bisnode and Raffay & Cie.GmbH. In addition, they were the MD and Founder of RI Digital Ventures GmbH, a venture capital firm that invests in internet start-ups.

Most recently, Gutbrod has been focused on their work at btov Partners. Jochen has been instrumental in the firm's investments in several successful companies, including Kreditech and Westwing.

Dr. Jochen Gutbrod is a German economist who earned their doctorate from the Université de Fribourg in Switzerland. Jochen also holds a Master of Science in International Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a licentiate in business administration from the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland.
