Joe Belan

As a Client Manager with BTQ Financial, Joe Belan oversees all aspects of the financial outsourcing relationship with nonprofit client partners. He brings expertise in financial analysis, developing operating and capital budgets, grants reporting, organization management and strategic planning, banking relationships and board presentations.

Prior to joining BTQ, Joe served as a Chief Financial Officer for three nonprofit organizations over a ten year period. He developed revenue and expense forecast models, improved analysis of financial operations, developed new business activities to generate additional earned income and negotiated lines of credit with financial institutions. Joe was also the Director of Finance for a Virginia-based history and culture foundation where he established a finance department and introduced strategic planning, financial forecasting and capital budgeting. Joe has also worked in the private sector and was Manager of Financial Analysis for a technology firm.

Joe holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and an AB in Economics from Rutgers University.
