Blake Perez

Blake Perez started their work experience in 2009 at Intel, where they worked as a Materials Operations Systems (MOS) employee until 2010. In 2012, they joined Samsung Electronics America as an Engineer I, specializing in photolithography equipment and process sustaining. Blake also gained experience in cleanroom and wafer fab during their time there. From 2014 to 2018, Blake worked as a Senior Design Engineer at the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre. In 2019, they joined nTopology as a Senior Product Manager, a position they held until 2020, when they became the APAC Manager until 2023. Currently, Blake is working at BTSE in a strategy role, starting in April 2023.

Blake Perez completed their education with a High School Diploma from Asheville School in the year 2007. Blake then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2011. Blake furthered their studies in Mechanical Engineering and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree from Virginia Tech between 2012 and 2013. Continuing their academic journey, they attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2011, where they achieved a Certificate in Renewable Energy Technology. Lastly, Blake attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018, and successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering Product Development.
