Derek Dunn

Derek Dunn has experience in various roles across multiple companies. Derek began their career in 2013 as Co-Founder of Zero Marketing, a startup company providing O2O technical support. In 2014, they worked as a Web Developer for NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. In 2016, they were an Algorithm Engineer/Project Manager at Auckland University of Technology, where they built a cascading phenomena and erdos renyi algorithm data analysis and adjust software based on Python. In the same year, they also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at MediaCom. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Bitcoin Miner/Head of Investment at Treasure Hashage, where they managed a 450 MW electric power bitcoin mining farm in Sichuan, China. Currently, they are a Project Manager at BTX Capital, where they are targeting young professionals and Web3 projects and is responsible for global asset allocation between China and the United States.

Derek Dunn obtained their Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Auckland in 2017. Derek also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Auckland in 2016, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in BCIS major in network and security from Auckland University of Technology in 2016. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Google in AdWords and Analytics in 2017, and a CCNA certification from \u601d\u79d1.
