Dana Beldiman

Dana Beldiman is an accomplished legal expert and educator, currently serving as the Founder and Academic Director of the Center for Transnational IP, Media and Technology Law and Policy at Bucerius Law School since 2004, alongside a role as a Professor at UC Hastings College of the Law since February 2008. Beldiman holds the position of US Scholar Distinguished Chair for the Fulbright Program and has been a Partner at Squire Patton Boggs since 2015. As an Expert for the World Intellectual Property Organization since 2020, Beldiman contributes to the field of intellectual property law. The academic background includes a Doctorate in Law from Universitaet Bremen, a Master of Laws from Santa Clara University School of Law, a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and an MA from the University of Bucharest. Additionally, Beldiman has served as the Honorary Consul General of Romania in San Francisco since 1998.
