Dr. Nils Krause

Dr. Nils Krause, LL.M. (Durham) is a Partner at DLA Piper, where Dr. Nils serves as the International Co-Head of Corporate Legal Products and Innovation and Head of Corporate / M&A in Germany, a position held since July 2011. In addition to their role at DLA Piper, Dr. Krause has been a Lecturer on Mergers & Acquisitions at Bucerius Law School since July 2008 and previously taught Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance Law, and Corporate Compliance at HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration until July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Corporate / M&A Lawyer at White & Case from 2005 to June 2011 and working in Investment Banking for Global Banking M&A at Deutsche Bank from 2008 to 2009. Dr. Krause's educational background includes a Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford, a Master’s Degree in Law from Durham University, and a Visiting Researcher position at Harvard University, alongside studies at The University of Freiburg and the University of Hamburg.
