Prof. Dr. Barbara E. Weißenberger

Prof. Dr. Barbara E. Weißenberger holds a position as Lehrstuhl für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbes. Controlling und Accounting at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf since October 2014, and serves as an Affiliate Professor of Accounting at Bucerius Law School. With extensive involvement in research and oversight, Barbara Weißenberger is a member of the DFG-Expertengremium for the development of a national research data infrastructure and also holds a position on the supervisory board of Grant Thornton Germany. Additionally, Barbara Weißenberger has contributed to various advisory and project roles, including partnerships in projects focused on Corporate Social Responsibility and digital economy initiatives. Previously, a professor at Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, Barbara Weißenberger possesses advanced degrees from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and has engaged in further education at HEC Paris and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
