Martin Christen

Martin Christen's work experience includes serving as the Head of Quality Assurance Global at Bucher Leichtbau AG since October 2018. In this role, they are responsible for leading the Quality Assurance department, including Supplier Quality Engineering and Quality Engineering. Martin oversees a team of employees and develops and implements quality assurance strategies. Prior to this, Martin worked as a Supplier Quality Engineer at SIG allCap AG from October 2016 to September 2018. In this position, they were responsible for the approval and support of products from development to production, including the acceptance of various injection molding tools at different production sites abroad. Martin also has experience at Maschinenfabrik Rieter AG, where they worked as a Qualitätsplaner from July 2012 to September 2016, and as a Service Engineer from December 2010 to June 2012. Additionally, they started their career as an Elektromonteur at Schultheis-Möckli AG from August 2005 to November 2010.

Martin Christen began their education by completing a degree as an Elektromonteur from BBW Winterthur in the years 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at IBZ Schulen für Technik Informatik Wirtschaft Brugg, where they obtained a degree as a Techniker in Betriebstechnik from 2015 to 2017. In addition, they attended SAQ-QUALICON AG in 2016 to acquire knowledge in Q-Management. Prior to that, in 2013, they completed a course at SAQ-QUALICON and earned the title of Qualitäts-Techniker. Martin also achieved the qualification of Prozessfachman mit eidgenössischem Fachausweis from IBZ Schulen für Technik Informatik Wirtschaft Brugg between 2013 and 2015. Finally, in 2014, they participated in a program at SAQ-QUALICON AG focusing on Lieferantenaudits.
