Tobias Lanz

Tobias Lanz has extensive experience in the jewelry and gemstone industry, currently serving as the Global Associate Director of Sourcing & Category Management and Chief Diamond Buyer at Bucherer AG since February 1997. Tobias has held various significant roles within the company, including Chief Buyer for high-priced and entry-level diamond and gemstone jewelry, as well as Store Manager at KURZ Schmuck und Uhren. Prior to Bucherer AG, Tobias gained valuable experience as a Deputy Branch Manager and Sales Professional at Deubelbeiss from July 1992 to July 1996, where a foundation in goldsmithing was established. Educational qualifications include a diploma in retail specialization from Schweizerisches Institut für Unternehmerschulung, a gemologist certification from Deutsche gemmologische Gesellschaft, and a goldsmith diploma from Deubelbeiss Aarau. Currently, Tobias is an active member of both the Swiss Gemmological Society and the Diamantclub van Antwerpen.
