Nathan Shipley

Nathan Shipley is a seasoned professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and creative technology, currently serving as Technical Director at BUCK since January 2024, focusing on AI tools research and development for film, VFX, and animation. Prior experience includes a residency at Stochastic Labs dedicated to AI tools for creative expression and multiple roles at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, where Nathan held titles such as Director of Artificial Intelligence and Technical Director. Nathan has also collaborated with Intel Corporation and Google, producing innovative VR and animation projects. Early career experiences include animation roles at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions and an adjunct professor position at Indiana University, where curriculum for a telecommunications production class was developed. Nathan received a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Design & Production from Indiana University Bloomington between 1999 and 2003.
