Adam Shilling has extensive experience in the YMCA industry. Adam began their career at Valley Points Family YMCA in 2006, where they served as the Youth and Adult Program Director. During their time there, they exceeded annual budget projections, developed and managed teen programming, and nurtured local alliances. In 2008, Adam joined YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh as a Business and Operations Analyst. Adam then moved to YMCA as a Senior Manager of Impact Strategies in 2012. In 2016, they joined YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids as the Executive Director of Membership and Program, where they achieved significant revenue growth and expanded corporate partnerships. Adam Shilling is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Buckeye Valley Family YMCA.
Adam Shilling completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics at the University of Pittsburgh from 2002 to 2006. Adam then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Services, with a concentration in Organizational Management and Leadership, at Springfield College from 2014 to 2015.
