Margaret Walsh

Margaret Walsh is a Commercial Strategy Leader with a focus on developing approaches to commercializing assets and products that drive revenue growth. Margaret has over 20 years of experience in technology strategy, product management, and investment strategy. Margaret is currently a Trustee at Buckley Country Day School. Prior to their current role, Margaret was with Ernst & Young Global from January 2018 to December 2019 where they served as the Commercial Strategy Leader. In this role, Margaret was responsible for developing a value-driven approach to commercializing technology assets and products, an operate model that detailed the value relationship between business functions and technology, and an investment strategy and model that would be responsive to market needs and provide for measurable ROI. Margaret has also implemented a portfolio management framework that informed investment decisions and retirement actions yielding significant cost savings.

Margaret Walsh has a background in Economics and Political Science from University College Dublin. Margaret also has a HDip in Education from the same school. In addition, they have a certification from EY in their Disruptive Tech Series. Margaret Walsh is currently pursuing an Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
