Paul Vambutas

Paul Vambutas is currently a Trustee at Buckley Country Day School. Prior to that, they were Managing Director, Portfolio Manager at Global Atlantic Financial Group Limited from January 2016 to May 2019. In that role, they were Head of Specialty Finance and managed a large unconstrained portfolio of mostly renewable energy and consumer investments. From March 2014 to December 2015, they were Managing Director at Apollo Global Management LLC, where they focused on structured credit. From July 2010 to March 2014, they were Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, where they served as Head of the Credit Solutions Group and was on the management committee for complex structured products. Paul also managed legacy Auction Rate Security and ABS portfolios. Prior to that, they were Managing Director at Deutsche Bank from March 2000 to April 2010, where they focused on various ABS sectors and operating businesses. Before that, they were Vice President at Credit Suisse from March 1997 to February 2000.

Paul Vambutas has an MBA in finance and management from Columbia Business School and a BA in economics from Columbia University.
