Ari Schaffer

Ari Schaffer serves as the Director of Communications at the Buckley Institute since June 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles including Chief of Staff, Director of Communications, and Press Secretary at the Georgia Secretary of State from November 2019 to June 2022. Prior to that, Ari held the position of Special Advisor for Communications at the U.S. Department of Commerce from August 2018 to November 2019 and worked at The White House in various capacities, including Associate Director of Research and Research Analyst. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Presidential Research Analyst at America Rising LLC and a Fellow at the John Hay Initiative. Ari Schaffer holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and East Asian Studies from The Johns Hopkins University, earned between 2010 and 2013.
