Jan Cothran has a diverse work experience in finance and management. From 1995 to 1997, Jan worked as a Senior Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand. Starting in 1997, Jan joined Southwest Airlines, where they held various positions including Senior Auditor, Audit Manager, Project Consultant, Manager-Profitability & Competitive Analysis, Manager-Ground Operations Planning, Director Budget Planning, and finally, Director from 2010 to 2019. Since 2019, Jan has been serving as the Vice President of Finance at Buckner International.
Jan Cothran has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University. They also have a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from the same institution. Jan Cothran has additional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the AICPA.
