Paul Buchanan

Paul Buchanan is the founder and board member of BUCS Analytics, a boutique consulting and technology firm established in 2006 to help mid-sized businesses put their data to work and ease the burden of conventional reporting and analysis. Prior to founding BUCS Analytics, they held an executive level leadership role at an international Fortune 25 business and pursued independent consulting, including a project with Helzberg Diamonds where they gained an understanding of how Berkshire-Hathaway guides performance for its companies. They served as an Adjunct Professor for the Executive MBA Program at the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University and are a long-time member of the School of Management Advisory Council for the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. They earned an MBA from Rockhurst University (1978–1980) and attended the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business (1974–1975).
