Ricardo Castro

Ricardo Castro has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Ricardo started their career at Fox Entertainment Group as an Art Director, responsible for motion graphics, web content, and post-production. After that, they worked at Ripe Digital Entertainment as an Art Director and CG FX Director, where they directed and designed TV programming graphics and promotional trailers. Ricardo then joined Ayzenberg as a Senior Creative, where they focused on art direction, CGI, VFX, and directing. Currently, they are working at Buddha Jones as the Head of Real Time Cinematics, previously holding the positions of Director of Realtime & CG and Art Director/3D supervisor. Overall, Ricardo has a wide range of skills and experience in the creative field.

Ricardo Castro completed a Post Graduate Program in Computer Graphics Technologies at UCLA from 2000 to 2003. In 2006 and 2007, they attended the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation, where they obtained a CGI VFX Director 3D Generalist degree in Computer Graphics. Additionally, Ricardo has a Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Film, and Television from the Superior Design Institute of Havana (ISDI). Ricardo's Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree was obtained from the National Art Schools, although the field of study for this degree is unspecified.
