Juan Fran Jimenez

Juan Fran Jimenez has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Juan Fran started as a Junior developer in various companies such as VindeX uSistemas and INDRA Sistemas. Juan Fran later joined IBM Consulting as a Junior developer, where they worked on a CRM project for a Telecommunication Provider. Juan then moved on to EURO RSCG as a Junior developer, where they were promoted to lead a team for an international project.

In 2007, Juan joined weComm as an iOS Senior Developer, where they took on the Lead Developer role and managed the iOS client roadmap. Juan Fran also gained expertise in GUI software development for Windows desktop applications during their time there.

After that, Juan became a part of iojoe.com as an iOS Game Developer, where they led the creation of a 2D game for the iPhone. Juan Fran then worked at VRELIA as a Mobile Director, focusing on expanding their presence in the mobile arena and establishing relationships with partners and investors.

Juan joined AAARGB! in 2011, where they served as an Engineering Manager & Mobile Lead. Juan Fran was responsible for mobile UX/UI and development, specializing in iOS and Android native development.

Currently, Juan is working at Buddi as the Head of Mobile. Juan Fran has been leading mobile development for iOS and Android, as well as React Native projects. Juan Fran has successfully launched and supported five apps and continues to provide continuous updates.

Throughout their career, Juan has gained expertise in various technologies and has played key roles in software design, project planning, development, and submission processes.

Juan Fran Jimenez began their education in 1997, attending Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio where they obtained a MSc in Telecommunications Engineering. Juan Fran'sstudies focused on subjects such as Maths, Computer Science, Hardware Design, and Software Engineering, and they completed their degree in 2005.

In 2018, Juan Fran Jimenez pursued further education at The Interaction Design Foundation, completing the Interaction Designer Learning Path. This program allowed him to deepen their knowledge in Human-Computer Interaction, and they completed this course in 2020.

In 2019, Jimenez briefly attended the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, where they studied Product Management with Lean, Agile, and System Design Thinking. Juan Fran completed this program within the same year.

In terms of additional certifications, Juan Fran Jimenez obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in September 2023. Juan Fran also received the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org in April 2021.
