Ashutosh Kumar Burnwal

Ashutosh Burnwal has a decade of experience in the education and entrepreneurship sectors. In 2006, they began their career as a Marine Engineer Officer at BP (British Petroleum) Ltd. In 2010, they founded and became the CEO of Buddy4Study.com, a scholarship search engine and aggregator, which has helped over 4 million students to get connected with 5000 scholarship programs worth over ₹25000 crore. In 2011, they also became the Executive Director of Smiling Star Advisory Pvt. Ltd. In 2013, they began writing a scholarship column in newspapers and magazines such as The Hindu, Prabhat Khabar, and Haribhumi to help students learn about scholarships. In 2017, they became the Director of Buddy4Study India Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps donors manage scholarship funds. In 2020, they became a Mentor of Change under AIM-NITI Aayog, and has conducted more than 100 mentoring sessions with students and founders.

Ashutosh Burnwal completed their schooling from Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Sindri, Dhanbad from 1995 to 2001. Ashutosh then pursued a B.Tech degree in Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering And Research Institute from 2002 to 2006. In 2010, they completed their PGDM in Marketing/Operations from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. In 2016, they were awarded the Tara Chand Memorial Scholarship from Buddy4Study.com.
